SHoP Construction provided cost estimating and integrated preconstruction services for the HDD project, a 6 story, 300,000SF mixed-use project located in New Jersey. SHoP Construction used 5D technology to determine accurate cost projections for the project. The BIM software package includes REVIT, NavisWorks, CATIA and Ecotect. In its early stages, SHoP Architects provided master planning strategies for the mixed use development. Primarily a residential project, the building also included amenities, parking, and a 10,000SF waterfront esplanade. The project aspired to be LEED Gold Certified and included the implementation of next-generation sustainable technologies. SHoP Construction's scope of work included managing the virtual design and construction process, and through its relationships with trade contractors, aligning a team to deliver the project using building information modeling.
