Facade Design & Engineering /
SHoP Construction has expanded its scope of services to include facade design & engineering. We are currently seeking a variety of professionals to design & engineer challenging and unique projects from conception through implementation while incorporating advanced building information models as a means to facilitate shop drawing and direct to fabrication processes of advanced exterior wall systems.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture - master’s preferred
-Varying levels of experience in facade design and specialty curtain-wall detailing
-An understanding of specialty facade design from both an architectural and engineering perspectives
-Strong communications skills and desire to work in highly integrated environments
-Exceptional design/drafting skills of advanced facade detailing
-Understanding and/or ability to use parametric software platforms as pertains to engineering of complex systems – CATIA (or CATIA based), SolidWorks, Inventor, Pro/E, etc., and
-Interest in engaging all aspects of curtain-wall design, procurement, and construction, for wide variety of projects, clients, and locations.
Project Managers, VDC Managers & Project Engineers /
